Dame Anna Wintour (Londen, Engeland, 3 november 1949) is een Brits-Amerikaanse mediadirecteur. Van 1988 tot en met 2025 was ze de hoofdredacteur van de Amerikaanse uitgave van het modetijdschrift Vogue. Sinds 2020 is Wintour werkzaam als Chief Content Officer bij het mediabedrijf Condé Nast en wereldwijd hoofdredacteur van Vogue. Ze bekleedt sinds 1999 onafgebroken het voorzitterschap van het Met Gala. Wintour wordt beschouwd als een van de meest gezaghebbende en invloedrijke vrouwen in de uitgeverij- en mode-industrie. In 2023 is ze geëerd met de koninklijke onderscheiding Orde van de Eregezellen voor haar grote bijdrage aan de Britse mode-industrie. Wintour staat bekend om haar kenmerkende boblijn en grote zonnebril.

Piers Paul Read

Piers Paul Read FRSL (born 7 March 1941) is a British novelist, historian and biographer. He was first noted in 1974 for a book of reportage, Alive: The Story of the Andes Survivors, later adapted as a feature film and a documentary. Read was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge, where he studied history.

Among his most popular works are The Professor's Daughter, A Married Man, and A Season in the West. In addition to his written works, Read is also a dramatist and television scriptwriter. In recent years, he has produced a number of authorized biographies and popular history books which are intended for a general audience. Read has worked and lived in both the United Kingdom and the United States, where he published many of his recent works. Read was awarded the Sir Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize for The Junkers, the Hawthornden Prize and Somerset Maugham Award for Monk Dawson, the Thomas More Medal for Alive, and the Enid McLeod Award for The Free Frenchman.

Richard Clive Neville (15 December 1941 – 4 September 2016) was an Australian writer and social commentator who came to fame as an editor of the counterculture magazine Oz in Australia and the United Kingdom in the 1960s and early 1970s. He was educated as a boarder at Knox Grammar School and enrolled for an arts degree at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Australian political magazine The Monthly described Neville as a "pioneer of the war on deference".
