Janet Kennedy (c. 1480 – c. 1545), was a Scottish noble and the mistress of King James IV of Scotland.

Jacobus IV (Stirling Castle, 17 maart 1473 – Flodden (Northumberland), 9 september 1513) was koning van Schotland van 1488 tot 1513. Hij was een zoon van Jacobus III en Margaretha van Denemarken (1456-1486).
